Big Sky Sun Projects International conducts the following humanitarian projects in Myanmar (Burma) and Cambodia:

Myanmar (Burma)

Overview: Located on the edge of Southeast Asia, Myanmar shares its borders with five countries: Thailand and Laos to the East, Bangladesh and India to the West, and China to the North. To the South, Myanmar has an uninterrupted coastline from the Bay of Bengal to the Andaman Sea. Her borders stretch from Tibet, in the far north, nearly to Malaysia, circumscribing the Himalayan majesty of 19,320 foot Hkabo-Razi, and the kaleidoscopic corals of the Burma Banks. Learn more >>

Cambodia

Overview: Cambodia borders Thailand in the west and north, Laos in the northeast, and Vietnam to the east, with the Gulf of Thailand forming a southern coastline. Flowing south out of Laos, the Mekong River transects the eastern half of the country. An enormous lake, the Tonle Sap, is the dominate feature of Cambodia’s mostly flat, low-lying interior; this basin was the rice bowl of ancient Angkor, the largest preindustrial settlement in the world. Vocational Education & Microfinancing
In cooperation with the villagers of Ban Bung and Ban Fan, BSSPI is supporting vocational training coupled with micro-finance to enhance local capacity for alternative livelihoods. Learn more >>
